”Will.I.AM showed his soft side after becoming emotional over a specialvideo made by fans and his Black Eyed Peas bandmate Fergie to mark his 37th birthday on Thursday (15Mar12).

The rapper was thrilled with the 30-minute compilation featuring photosand shout-outs from dedicated devotees around the globe sending himbirthday wishes.

The YouTube.com clip ends with a special appearance from Fergie, who sings Happy Birthday to her pal before blowing a kiss to the camera.

The I Gotta Feeling hitmaker was so moved by the touching present, he took to his Twitter.com page to express his gratitude.

He wrote, “Wow… I’m watching my birthday video… Thank you to all the peabodies (fans) who made this… It’s the best bday (sic) gift ever… You give me willpower. Wow… watching the will power video is making me emotional… Thank you guys.”

The hip-hop star then revealed he was working on a present to say thanks to his fans, tweeting, “In the studio alone… Making music… When I was 17 this was a dream… Now it’s real thanks to you.”
